Shopping-list

Things I kinda have to have :)
Another pair of Cindy shoes, design "Cindy Crawford by fifth Avenue" (I already have light-brown boots with heels like those Cindy´s wearing in the photo). Some ferrero roche chocolate, only the best chocolate in the world. And Bon Jovi´s new CD "The Circle". And I need to download the dancemovie "Let it Be Me" (my favourite dancemovie).

30.12.09

Tomorrow´s the last day of year 2009. It has ended pretty well...at least for me and my photos. I was selected together with my photography "Lady Liberty" to be published in "Best of 2009 Photography" in USA. My photos of Christmas Ljubljana were published in our local swedish newspaper, yesterday they contacted me because they want to do an interview with me and my photographing. Yupp, a nice finish. Hope 2010 will be even better than 2009.
Today I hade some studying to do and while doing this I nailpolished my nails, listend to "Africa" by Perpetuum Jazzile (from Slovenia, they´re so amazing, I had tears in my eyes during one of their concerts...they´re phenomenal!), and ate my fruitplate. I really prove that women can do many things at the same time :)

Afterwards I took a long, hot shower with my new products, which I loooove!

After breakfast I went to the forest nearby to take some photographs.

Home alone

The rest of the family hit the road to a bigger city for some shopping. I stayed at home together with our dog. Fantastic. Some alone-time! Started my day off with a blackberry-youghurt smoothie.

Listened to music (Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, the soundtrack from New Moon etc), watched Stardust (I love Tristian, he looks just like a guy I know, it´s crazy!), sudied, organized my photos and scrapbooks, ate fruit and drank smoothies. Everything at the same time.

And it seems to me lika a candle in the wind

Starting the day with a smoothie

Making dinner

Today was my turn to make dinner. I made vegetarian pie with ham...I know, doesn´t make any sense...but it´s still delicious ;) And while making it I listened to Bon Jovi´s greatest hits and "Armageddon It" by Def Leppard.

Christmas Eve

No words needed. Let the photos speak for themselves!

Christmas lunch at 13.00. My brother and I brought a lot of Slovenian food for Christmas. So we mix both Swedish and Slovene traditions :) The best from both worlds ;)

My sister, brother, our dog and I went for a walk after lunch at 14.00 to the nearest lake. Took a shortcut through the woods.

At 15.00 we watched "Kalle Anka och hans vänner önskar God Jul" together with "Marängsvissssssssssch"

Played some Christmas Carols before "Julbord"

Our Swedish/Slovene "Julbord" at 19.00.

The Christmas presents rested safetly under the Christmas tree since morning.

And ending the day like we ended last year´s Christmas Eve with Merlin, last year first season, this year season two. Merlin is one of the cutest guys I ever seen, and Prince Arthur one of the hottest!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

A really nice evening...

...today with the whole family. Chilling in the living room, watching "Seinfeld" (we are a Seinfeld-loving family) on our new wide-screen TV (really huge!) and eating Pizza-God´s (mum´s) pizzas.
Who´s your favourite Seinfeld character? Mine is without a doubt George! Go George!

I´m done...

...with our Christmas tree. Looks beautiful, I must say :) While decorationg it I listened to Celine Dion´s Christmas CD (even though the rest of the family wondered why the hell I listened to a CD when we have Spotify! Did Uncle Scrooge have Sportify? I thnik not! But I don´t think he had a CD-player/laptop either...). And I´m pleased to inform you that all of my Christmas presents have been bought and wrapped in beautiful Christmas present papper. Ah, the sweet taste of victory.

Some of...

...our Christmas decoration.

Shopping day

About to go to do some shopping...the whole family, all of us...except the dog in the house. Daddy promised we´ll stop at Burger King on our way home...haven´t eaten really junkfood the whole autumn so I kinda felt like a child when mum mentioned we would eat it today...felt almost like I always felt when we drove through Germany every summer and stopped at McDonald´s in Greding. Oh, happy, happy times!
Before the shopping we hade "Julfika" at home. I love Christmas!

And the traditional "Julgröt".

Back at home...

in Sweden. Feels good to see my family and dog again :) And it´s full of snow here and just keeps snowing every day! Loving it!

St.Lucia in Villesse and Padova, Italy and Swedish Embassy Christmas Party, Ljubljana

Photos to come

Last day in Ljubljana...

...went to the hairdresser, Studio Laura in Ljubljana at 10 a.m this morning, shorter (shoulder-lenght) and darker (dark chocolate brown). Got a Christmas present from my excellent hairdresser and a fresh baked crossiant and coffee while waiting. They really spoil us!
While at home I had some packing to do, even though almost everything was ready, so I listened to Bon Jovi, watched it snow outside and got a really nice Christmas feeling. The evening before my friend and I went to the old part of Ljubljana, strolled around and stopped at Lars Bar (a coffe-shop owned by a funny man from Norway) and bought tea at "Chai". Turkish tea with yoghurt is my new favourite! And some nights before we went to the Swedish embassy´s Christmas Party at the castle and before that we hade St. Lucia (I was St.Lucia this year again) in Villesse and Padova in Italy. That was fun! Show you some photos from that day some other time...and all the food we ate ;) hahah...I have never eaten so much salmon in my life!

Ljubljana in all it´s glory!

This year´s...

...Christmas presents...or some of them ;) A couple of hundreds more to search for...

Long day

Huh, a long day and only three days left until I go home to Sweden to celebrate Christmas and New Year with my family. Went shopping for presents today. After some chineese take-out I headed out to the town, shopping and stopping at the Swedish embassy to get something. Stopped for a smoothie-to-go at Juicebox on my way home.

New Moon

It´s finally time. New Moon premiere. Love the books, love the movies, love Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson (but who doesn´t, right?)...even though I know I´m not their target group. And I just love Rosalie´s outfits! I watched Twilight together with my dad, sister and brother last year, before Christmas Eve. Let me tell you, the next day all you could here in our house was: "Baby, don´t you know I suffer...ooooooooo, you set my soul alive...supermassive black hole...oooooo...
