Avocado salad
Mum worked today, and I made a fresh salad for her and me.
But first of all, I took a long walk with our dog before breakfast. It´s so beautiful outside!
Really easy to make; some lettuce, black olives, corn, cucumber and avocado. And some creme fraiche.
And some ice-cream with fresh pineapple together with a good movie.

Marshmallows
My sister and I decided to grill some marshmallows an evening after we came home from a long walk with "the-dog-in-the-house". Really cosy, mum and dad watched TV in the living-room. I love family-time!

Isn´t it just lovely waking up with someone shouting: It´s breakfast-time?! When all you want to do is to lie in your warm bed when it´s snowing outside and try to "float" away into your dreams again?

So mum worked until late today and the rest of the family were doing something on their computers. Naturally we have one computer each. I slaved away in the kitchen though...almost the entire evening. But it was worth it! Everything turned out to be delightful!

Winter wonderland
Two of my photos I took yesterday morning.
New Year
As tradition I celebrated New Year together with my family. We had a nice lunch, with some home-made farmbread and cheese before watching a horror-movie (the disappeared...don´t understand the point of the movie!) At 19.30 we had dinner. Delicious meat and gravy with different mushrooms (dad´s work) and pommes chateu and vegetables (mum´s work) and red wine. Delicious! My sister soon after headed for a party with her friends but the rest of us stayed at home. Watched one of the best movies I ever seen (even though I´m not a big fan of science fiction): Avatar! I finally understand after seeing it why people are making such a big fuss out of this movie...it really is a masterpiece! While watching the movie I prepared a snack-table (as tradition) with chips, chocolate with brandy and chocolate with champagne, other "child"-chocolate, sodas....oh, yeah and mini-hotdogs for our dog (bought them in a cosy animal store in Ljubljana). When the clock stroke midnight I got the honor of opening the champagne. I can now say that I´m an expert of this. My cork flew in a perfect bow, toched gently the ceiling in our living room and landed softly on the floor without injuring noone or nothing! A smash success for me! Everyone thought I was brilliant...or they didn´t. Didn´t actually see the look on their faces since I was way to concentrated on my cork.
And when my sister came home from her party, we cuddled up in my bed, drank champagne, ate chocolate, hade some facials (I did, she didn´t want to) and watched "The Big Bang Theory" on her laptop. Good times, good times!

VOGUE
New years eve! Had a nice day with my dear friend Sara today at 12.00. We went to our favourite ccffee-shop and had some blueberry-pie and just talked. We haven´t seen each other since summer, because of me being in Ljubljana and her in Sweden. Felt good to see her again! She´s a friend for life!

Another pair of Cindy shoes, design "Cindy Crawford by fifth Avenue" (I already have light-brown boots with heels like those Cindy´s wearing in the photo). Some ferrero roche chocolate, only the best chocolate in the world. And Bon Jovi´s new CD "The Circle". And I need to download the dancemovie "Let it Be Me" (my favourite dancemovie).

Tomorrow´s the last day of year 2009. It has ended pretty well...at least for me and my photos. I was selected together with my photography "Lady Liberty" to be published in "Best of 2009 Photography" in USA. My photos of Christmas Ljubljana were published in our local swedish newspaper, yesterday they contacted me because they want to do an interview with me and my photographing. Yupp, a nice finish. Hope 2010 will be even better than 2009.
Today I hade some studying to do and while doing this I nailpolished my nails, listend to "Africa" by Perpetuum Jazzile (from Slovenia, they´re so amazing, I had tears in my eyes during one of their concerts...they´re phenomenal!), and ate my fruitplate. I really prove that women can do many things at the same time :)
Afterwards I took a long, hot shower with my new products, which I loooove!

Home alone
The rest of the family hit the road to a bigger city for some shopping. I stayed at home together with our dog. Fantastic. Some alone-time! Started my day off with a blackberry-youghurt smoothie.
Listened to music (Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, the soundtrack from New Moon etc), watched Stardust (I love Tristian, he looks just like a guy I know, it´s crazy!), sudied, organized my photos and scrapbooks, ate fruit and drank smoothies. Everything at the same time.
